Q3: How do I register for the YA retreat?
You may register for the YA retreat here.
Early Bird promotion starts on 24 Feb (Mon) at 12 pm and ends on 1 May (Thur) at 11:59 pm. Overall retreat registration closes on 8 Jul (Tue) at 11:59 pm or once the maximum number of participants is reached. Sign up quickly as vacancies are limited.
Q4: May I register for the retreat on behalf of my cell group member(s)?
You may register on behalf of your cell group member(s). Do note that registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Q6: Will I be able to select my preferred hotel for the trip?
Yes, participants can select their preferred hotel during registration. However, please note that availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Accommodations will be at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel and Moxy Putrjaya (both under the Marriot group). The retreat sessions and other activities will be held at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel. Free shuttle service will be provided for participants staying at Moxy Putrajaya.
Q7: What are the accepted payment methods?
To ensure a streamlined payment process, only Visa and Mastercard payments will be accepted.
Q8: How do I know if I have successfully paid for the retreat?
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking upon submission of registration and full payment. We regret that we are unable to process partial payments.
For any rooming or payment issues that require assistance, please email [email protected] and we will revert within 7 working days.
Q9: What does the cost of the retreat include?
- Hotel accommodation for 2-nights’ stay,
- 4 meals in hotel: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner,
- Retreat T-shirt, and
- Conference rooms and facilities
Q10: My passport is up for renewal. Can I register for the retreat using my existing passport details to take advantage of the Early Bird promotion, and thereafter, update my details once my passport is renewed?
Yes, you may update your passport details after registration. Please renew your passport as soon as possible and furnish us with your updated passport details via [email protected]. Do ensure you have at least 6 months validity on your passport at the time of travel.
Q11: I have paid for the retreat, but I am unable to attend due to last minute changes. Can I ask for a refund, or can I find someone to replace me?
We regret that we are unable to process any refunds. However, you may find a replacement to take your place. Please email [email protected] if you need assistance.
Q12: I’ve registered for the trip. Is it possible to include additional person(s) to my application (regardless of my payment status)?
Unfortunately, we are unable to include additional person(s) to an existing application. In order to include additional individual(s), you will need to submit a new booking registration for the additional individual.
Q13: What are the rooming arrangements for single registrants?
You may book a single room, or email [email protected] for other arrangements.
Q14: I am attending the retreat with someone of the opposite gender. Are we allowed to share a room?
Room sharing is strictly for family members, married couples, and individuals of the same gender. The Young Adults committee reserves the right to modify any room sharing arrangements that do not comply with this requirement.
Q15: Is there a pro-rated pricing for someone who can only join the retreat for 2D1N?
We regret that we are unable to process pro-rated pricing. Hence, pricing will remain at the cost of 3D2N.
Q16: May I invite non-CHC/non-Christian friends for the retreat?
Yes, you may certainly invite your friends or family members to join us for the YA retreat.
Accommodation
Q17: When are we expected to arrive on the first day of the trip on 15 Aug (Fri)?
You may arrive anytime from 3pm, however rooms may only be available between 3pm to 6pm. Dinner is provided from 6pm onwards at Putrjaya Marriott Hotel and the first session will begin at 8pm (tentative).
Free shuttle service will be provided for participants staying at Moxy Putrajaya.
Q18: May I book an extra day/night at the same hotel before or after the retreat?
Our booking system has a pre-stay option that allows participants to book hotel rooms before the retreat. However, you will need to make your own arrangements for room bookings after the retreat.
Pre-stay rates are as follows:
Twin room (incl. breakfast) = S$170
Triple room (incl. breakfast) = S$210
Q19: May I book my own accommodation elsewhere instead of the designated hotel?
If you are attending the retreat, you are required to stay in the designated hotel with the group as our aim is to build community and do life together during the 3D2N retreat. We will be bonding over meals, activities, and sessions together.
Q20: If I bring my 3-year-old toddler to the retreat, does he/she need to pay?
Pricing for child with bed: S$270 (both Early Bird and Normal Pricing)
Pricing for child without bed: S$190 (both Early Bird and Normal Pricing)

Q21: May I request for a baby cot?
Yes, you may request for a baby cot during the online registration. Baby cots are free of charge but subject to availability.
Transportation
Q22: Is transport provided from Singapore to KL, and is this included in the retreat cost?
Transportation costs between Singapore and KL are not included in the retreat cost. There is a 2-way return coach option that you can select upon registration if you wish to join our arranged transportation. The price for this transportation is S$50 for a 2-way return (standard coach with no toilet). There is no 1-way trip option.
Alternatively, you may arrange your way to KL via your own transportation (car, coach, or flight).
Q23: What is the set-off time and arrival time on the first day of the retreat on 15 Aug, Fri?
For those taking the coach provided by the church, set-off time will be 6am from the coach pick-up station at Lakeside MRT.
For those travelling on their own to KL, do gather at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel from 6pm onwards for dinner. Our first session begins at 8pm* (tentative) for our first session. More details will be provided closer to the trip.
Q24: What time does the retreat officially end?
The retreat ends on 17 Aug (Sun) at 12 pm (tentative) with lunch provided before the coach to Singapore departs at at 1.30pm (tentative).
Q25: Will there be free parking (multiple entry/exit) provided at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel and Moxy Putrajaya Hotel for those who choose to drive to KL?
Yes, complimentary parking is provided for hotel guests.
Q26: How are we grouped during the retreat?
In general, participants will be grouped according to cell groups and zones.
Q27: Will there be a schedule detailing mealtime, activities and “free & easy” times?
The confirmed schedule will be provided as soon as it is available.
Q28: Will we need to pay for any meals during the retreat? How much Ringgit do I need to bring for meals?
Throughout the 3D2N retreat, the following meals will be covered in the retreat cost:
Day 1: Dinner
Day 2: Breakfast(*Lunch and Dinner will not be provided)
Day 3: Breakfast and Lunch
Lunches on Day 1 and 2 are not included and you will need to bring sufficient Ringgit for these meals. You may also want to bring more cash for shopping, food, or to spend during the free and easy time on Day 2.
Nursery & Harvest Kidz Support
Q29: Will there be Nursery and Harvest Kidz support during the sessions?
Nursery support: There will be NO nursery support for toddlers below 3 years old. There will be an allocated space in the hall for parents and toddlers below 3 years old. Please feel free to reach out to our pastoral staff for help if necessary.
Harvest Kidz support: There will be Harvest Kidz support for children from 4 to 12 years old.

Q31: Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
You are strongly encouraged to obtain a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as baggage loss, flight delays, medical emergencies, or changes in government policies such as compulsory quarantines. Do note that travel insurance is not included in the retreat cost.
Q32: Will there be a pre-trip briefing for all the participants?
There will be a pre-trip briefing conducted on the weekend of 12-13 July . Please gather at the front of the stage 10 minutes after service dismisses.
